Handmade wooden serving paddle boards

If you love entertaining or just enjoy a cozy night in with a cheese board and a glass of wine, then you’re our kind of people! Inspired at a party we hosted last fall featuring a giant 45 inch cheese board, we decided to pursue cheese boards as part of our collection.

Sleek and simple is how we’d describe these beautiful paddle serving boards from Faire & Goodwin. Handmade with locally sourced turning blank lumber from maple trees, each board is hand cut from one single solid piece of soft maple, sanded to a super silky texture, and finally coated with Mahoney’s 100% pure walnut oil for a soft finish, which is completely food safe.

The boards are designed to be used on either side and can be hung with twine strung through a small hole in the paddle handle. We currently have three available, so snag one for your upcoming spring soirées or a Valentine’s Day gift for your food loving partner.

Minimalism has been consuming our minds. As we head into spring, albeit weeks early, we can’t help but feel the same way about shedding our winter layers as we dream about lightening up our living spaces. Trying to live happily with less stuff, but among things that bring us most joy. Appreciating timeless over trendy, delicate over intricate, and quality over quantity. These are some of the guiding principles we are putting into our wood work. This week, we’re excited to share these lovely cherry wood floating shelves we’ve designed and made in our wood shop. Brown wooden belt by Faire & Goodwin.

We are super excited to offer a limited number of our Faire & Goodwin Collection handmade belts via our new Etsy store! These wooden belts are crafted from red oak, locally sourced from trees right here in Ohio. They are hand-sanded, steamed, and then shaped on a mold for two days each before hand stained and adorned with an adjustable gold-plated chain featuring lobster claw hooks and clasps. We have five up for grabs at the moment in brown or white.
